Our interventions will enhance productivity while reducing sickness levels. They will also lead to a more positive attitude towards work and the organisation.
We believe that investing in staff well-being will enhance the employer-employee relationship. This leads to a more collaborative attitude at work, rather than the dysfunctional ‘us and them’.
We take a holistic view of wellness, focussing on 6 key areas:
We address staff well-being in the following ways:
- Well-being training for staff.
- General well-being issues: These include strategies to build resilience, skills to develop psychological well-being, and techniques to support people implement and maintain steps to improve physical health.
- Work-related issues: This session focuses on preventing and addressing work-related stress and burnout. We can deliver the session to team leaders and managers, during which we will also explore ways of enhancing work-related well-being in the people they supervise.
- Coaching for specific staff members who need more individualised support.
- Consultancy on specific issues, such as how to address stress in a team who is working on a demanding project.
Points of best practice: We recommend that staff are consulted, using anonymous questionnaires, before deciding which approach is most suitable. We also recommend that well-being initiatives are evaluated.
